What is The Diet of Life?
The Diet of Life is a diet program designed for
permanent weight loss and permanent weight control. It's a
balanced approach to eating, providing 3 meals and 2 snacks
daily. It helps teach lifelong eating habits based on portion
sizes and moderation.
Every meal should be conservative in portion size, and have a
fairly even ratio of carbs, proteins, and fats. It shoots for
40% carbs, and 30% of both proteins and fats.
What Kind of Foods Can I Eat?
The Diet of Life provides you with flexible, yet balanced and
healthy meal plans. It consists of meals that will promote
long-term health and long-term weight management. Foods high
in fat are not allowed. You can include & exclude foods to
your likes & dislikes. You can modify the frequency of your
meals.
It can also adapt to you if you're a vegetarian. You also have
the choice to incorporate a low-carbohydrate meal plan.
